After the election of FDR the electors cast their ballots on January 9, 1933, with both Mars and Jupiter stationary. The Sun and Uranus were in square to aspect the Jupiter-Pluto cycle at 19 Cancer as the public wanted a change. (more on stationary orbs)
Mercury would aspect the T-square of cycles Uranus-Neptune at 03 Capricorn, Jupiter-Uranus at 03 Aries and Saturn-Pluto at 02 Cancer. Venus would square the Jupiter-Saturn cycle at 26 Virgo.
The old monarchies of Germany, Italy, and Russia would see the rise of Adolf Hitler, Benito Mussolini, and Joseph Stalin. Their economies were recovering with an economic policy of partnership between corporate and government.
President Roosevelt enacted various industrial policies of planned capitalism in an attempt to aid the lagging American economy, but not all were pleased with the changes. The New York Times front page featured an article on a Liberty League that opposed the radical changes taking place on August 23, 1934. The founders were heads of major companies and banks who had praised Mussolini.
On that day, the Sun at 29 Leo and Mercury at 27 Leo were conjunct the earlier Solar eclipse at 27 Leo and square the Saturn-Uranus cycle at 27 Scorpio. The Sun and Mercury were opposed to the Federal Mars at 28 Aquarius and square the Ascendant. (more on transits to nation charts)
Retired Marine Corps officer, Major General Smedley D. Butler, testified before a House Committee on Un-American Activities on November 20, 1934, of a plot to oust President Roosevelt in order to install a fascist regime.212
The dictatorship would be backed by 500,000 retired soldiers that he was asked to lead. He was invited to do this by Gerald P. MacGuire, a bond sales representative who was said to represent a Wall Street group, industry titans, and military leaders. The bankers and corporate giants loudly denied it all as fantasy.
The report would conclude that “Evidence was obtained showing that certain persons had made an attempt to establish a fascist organization in this country….There is no question but that these attempts were discussed, were planned, and might have been placed in execution when and if the financial backers deemed it expedient.”

The report found that what Butler had claimed was true yet took no further action. None in the elite group were investigated or charged in the plot. Most of the press lacked any interest and the story quietly disappeared.213
The plot to attack the chief executive of the government was revealed with the Sun at 27 Scorpio and Venus at 28 Scorpio conjunct the Federal Ascendant at 27 Scorpio and square Federal Mars at 28 Aquarius as the emphasized transiting Mars at 19 Virgo opposed the Federal Lilith at 18 Pisces.
When the electors had cast their ballots for President Roosevelt the stationary Mars was at 19 Virgo and the plot was revealed with Mars once again at 19 Virgo.
The financial motive was indicated with transiting Saturn of business at 22 Aquarius conjunct the Federal Venus at 21 Aquarius. The powerful perpetrators would be exempt from accountability. The Sun at 27 Scorpio and Venus at 28 Scorpio was conjunct Saturn-Uranus at 27 Scorpio and square a 1933 Solar eclipse at 27 Leo. Mercury and Jupiter at 08 Scorpio were square a Lunar eclipse at 10 Leo.
The investigation made it clear that some were above the law, even above the laws of treason, which were made for others to obey.
