Global Commerce Control in 1763

On February 23, 1763, the seventy-fourth anniversary of the Glorious Revolution, Charles Townshend became the First Lord of Trade to begin a new system of colonial government.57 Townshend had long held the view that taxation of the American colonies would bring significant revenue to Britain.

Each had Mercury stationary retrograde in a mutable sign at 18 degrees.

In March of 1763, the two cycles at 07 Aries were aspected by a Lunar eclipse at 08 Libra 21. It was followed by a Solar eclipse on April 13, 1763, at 23 Aries. Three days later, George Grenville became the new Prime Minister and head of Treasury in Britain.58

Great Britain, as a dominant global power intended the colonies only be allowed to purchase British goods or from British controlled colonies. Lilith had entered Aries with escalation to extremes.

The colonists viewed trade laws as counter to their own interests and defiance to be only sensible. Their caviler attitude toward smuggling had deprived Britain of a great deal of revenue. To correct that situation, Grenville passed in Parliament the Act for Encouragement of Officers Making Seizures with an Order of Council on June 1, 1763.59
Officers were allowed a portion of the proceeds as a bounty similar to the writs. A ship seized for paperwork infractions had little chance of recovery as fees and court costs would be more than the value of the vessel. Grenville had deputized the Royal Navy as an extension of customs enforcement to patrol and capture smugglers with all three Neptune involved cycles aspected.

Mars at 16 Gemini opposed Uranus-Neptune at 16 Sagittarius with Mercury at 01 Cancer conjunct Saturn-Neptune at 00 Cancer. Containment Decree
The Order for Officer’s Seizures to contain the colonists on the water was followed by the Royal Proclamation of 1763 on October 7, 1763.60 It forbid expansion westward of the colonists’ settlements as an interior boundary, the people had been effectively fenced in.
The Proclamation of 1763 was issued the day after the first Solar eclipse to aspect a new Aries cycle. The Solar eclipse at a critical 13 Libra 28 was in opposition to the transiting Uranus at 15 Aries 12 and the Jupiter-Saturn cycle at 12 Aries 21.

The Proclamation by the king (Sun) stood against the colonists Aries pioneering spirit and desire for Jupiter growth through the land of Saturn. The dispositor Venus at 09 Libra opposed the joined Jupiter-Uranus and Saturn-Uranus at 07 Aries.

Jupiter was stationary at 16 Gemini in opposition to the Uranus-Neptune cycle at 16 Sagittarius as Saturn at 06 Taurus was square another Neptune cycle, Jupiter-Neptune at 05 Leo. Mercury at 08 Scorpio was conjunct a recent Lunar eclipse at 07 Scorpio.

The stationary retrograde of Jupiter at 16 Gemini 40 was near perfect opposition to the emphasized Pilgrim North Node at 16 Sagittarius 38. Transiting North Node at 14 Aries, Uranus at 15 Aries in the fourth house of the mother country focused by the Sun at 13 Libra aspected the Pilgrim Neptune at 13 Libra, Pilgrim Mars at 16 Libra the Pilgrim Mercury at 16 Capricorn.

It denied the expansion desire of Jupiter and spurred words of rebellion against dictates ordered by the stroke of a pen. Transiting Mars was emphasized at 09 Virgo square the Ascendant of the offended public at 10 Sagittarius.

King George III ascension chart and the Proclamation of 1763 three years later both had Mercury at 08 Scorpio to confirm the power of the king’s pen. The stationary Jupiter at 16 Gemini in opposition to the 16 Sagittarius Mars emphasized by transiting Mars at 09 Virgo square the North Node at 09 Gemini, in a confrontational action.

Saturn at 06 Taurus in opposition to the Ascendant at 06 Scorpio made a hard line to rein in the colonists. Transiting Chiron square vengeful ascension Lilith as transiting Mercury was square the emphasized ascension Chiron was a self-inflicted wound.57. William Macdonald, Documentary Source Book of American History 1606-1898, 117; Nicholas Campion, The Book of World Horoscopes, 341-342. Glorious Revolution February 23, 1689, NS 10:00 LMT Westminster, England.
