Pivotal Moments to Revolt — Mundane Astrology

Inspiring Words

Charles Carter said, “if the restoration of public honor to Astrology be his goal, it would seem that this can be attained in no better way than by acquiring the power to foresee correctly the things of national moment”.
The repetition of past patterns indicates what lies ahead.

Pivotal Moments to Revolt

Connecting the Dots
A new Jupiter-Neptune cycle formed at 02 Virgo in August of 1766; custom duties are ruled by Jupiter joined with Neptune in Virgo administration.

The Lord of Trade Townshend’s plan for Charles Paxton (enforcer of the general search warrants) to be one of the five board members on the customs board became public on May 13, 1767.65

Smuggling Neptune at 02 Virgo became stationary direct that day as Jupiter was also stationary direct at 12 Virgo. This was the first simultaneous stationary of Jupiter and Neptune since the new cycle formed. (more on station points

The information galvanized the resistance in the colonies, their smuggling deprived the custom board of funds. Mars was critical at 00 Cancer conjunct the Saturn-Neptune cycle at 00 Cancer to activate another Neptune involved smuggling cycle.

Venus at 22 Gemini and Saturn at 19 Gemini opposed the Jupiter-Pluto at 22 Sagittarius. The colonists would withhold (Saturn) financial (Venus) from tariffs (Jupiter) government taxation (Pluto). (more on keywords)

Chiron at 15 Pisces was square Uranus-Neptune at 16 Sagittarius to further highlight Neptune.
Stationary Neptune at 02 Virgo aspected the Pilgrim chart Moon at 02 Sagittarius and Chiron at 01 Pisces while the transiting emphasized Chiron at 15 Pisces was square the North Node at 16 Sagittarius. This was a gauntlet thrown down to challenge the public Moon.

Jupiter of law was stationary at 12 Virgo square the Ascendant at 10 Sagittarius. Mars at 00 Cancer fired up the public in opposition to the Pilgrim Sun at 00 Capricorn, square the Midheaven of authority at 00 Libra.

The next dot on the map would be when Jupiter changed direction to stationary retrograde. The custom board sent a request to England for troops to enforce the Townshend Acts on February 12, 1768.66 (more on stationary orbs)

Critical Mars at 00 Capricorn was in opposition to the Mars at 00 Cancer when board plan became public with the Sun square the Sun(more on developing events)  (making yearly event page)
The next dot on the map was when the additional troops arrived on September 29, 1768, as both Mars and Pluto were stationary

Chiron was critical at 17 Pisces square the Uranus-Neptune cycle at 16 Sagittarius. Troops paraded the streets with drums beating in full pageantry of a military seige.67

Mercury at 14 Libra sent a message as it aspected Jupiter-Saturn at 12 Aries and a Lunar eclipse at 13 Cancer. The people were forced to see the troops were not for protection but enforcment.68

The Sun at 07 Libra and the North Node at 07 Capricorn aspected the Saturn-Uranus and Jupiter-Uranus at 07 Aries and a recent Lunar eclipse at 08 Capricorn.
Stationary retrograde Mars at 10 Taurus was conjunct the joined Pilgrim Jupiter and Pluto at 11 Taurus to activate the T-square again.

A Mars transit had been conjunct Jupiter and Pluto when the Sons of Liberty formed to fight the Stamp Act. The stationary Mars conjunction to that same point three and a half years later made a much deeper impression.
The British Navy had confiscated John Hancock’s ship Liberty and used it to patrol the coast of Rhode Island to seize other ships.

Another dot on the map was on July 19, 1769, a group of Newport citizens retaliated against the British captain of the Liberty by boarding, burning and then scuttling the ship.69

Jupiter was stationary direct at 13 Scorpio conjunct the Pilgrim Venus at 13 Scorpio as the transiting Uranus at 11 Taurus was conjunct the Pilgrim Jupiter and Pluto, once again setting off the Pilgrim T-square with Lilith to find surprising ways to exact revenge.

Mars was again at the same degree of 25 Leo as four years earlier when lieutenant governor Thomas Hutchinson’s home was destroyed on August 26,1765 by a mob.70

A local paper, The Newport Mercury reported on July 31, 1769, that the high tide drifted the Liberty to the north end of Goat Island (where the first cannons were fired against the British) followed by a rather intriguing quote, “What this prognosticates we leave to the determination of astrologers.”71
Boston Massacre
The next dot on the map was the troop buildup brought an eruption of violence with the Boston Massacre on March 5, 1770, as soldiers were guarding the customhouse.72 The research of Kraum and Grant put the time at 9:07 pm.73

Stationary direct Mercury at 28 Aquarius was in opposition to the Uranus-Pluto cycle at 28 Leo for unexpected violence. Transiting Jupiter at 22 Sagittarius travelled in square with transiting Chiron at 23 Pisces and aspected a Lunar eclipse months earlier at 21 Gemini as Jupiter made its twelve-year return to the Jupiter-Pluto cycle at 21 Sagittarius. The cycle was involved when the custom board became public. (Planet returning to cycle)

Two Pluto involved cycles were aspected, a stationary Mercury leaving a deep impression and a Jupiter cycle return with enlarged effect, intensifying the energy that ruled massacres. The Sun at 15 Pisces was square the Uranus-Neptune at 16 Sagittarius and a Solar eclipse at 13 Gemini.
Stationary Mercury at 28 Aquarius 06 was in tight opposition to the British Republic Mars at 28 Leo 10. 74 The transiting opposition of Lilith at 25 Capricorn and Saturn at 25 Cancer was square the Republic Mercury at 24 Aries and Lilith 23 Aries which emphasized both Mercury and Lilith. This event was a pivotal step in the march toward American revolt.
Transiting Mars was at 03 Aquarius 20 in opposition to the Pilgrim Uranus at 01 Leo 58 as the tensions ignited into a flashpoint of violence and the first deaths.

A transiting T-square of Venus at 10 Pisces, Neptune at 10 Virgo with the North Node at 09 Sagittarius conjunct the Pilgrim Ascendant at 10 Sagittarius removed any illusion that British soldiers were a protection.
